Here at St Mary’s Ferndown, Bapstims and thanksgiving normally take place during our 10.45am, service except for on the 1st Sunday of the month or at our 9am Breakfast Church service.

Married couples who wish their child to be baptised should be living in the parish or if not resident, be  regular worshippers at St Mary’s.

We usually begin with a service of “Thanksgiving for the Birth of a Child” – this may be all that some will require if they feel unable to fulfil the promises in the Baptism service.

A service of Dedication is also available for a child where parents believe they should be baptised by their own choice when they are older.
